Weather you like it or not, Network Marketing has evolved over the years and is continuing to evolve. Most MLMers rely on ancient strategies to “get people” into their business. That’s the first mistake, “getting people”. Getting anyone to do anything they do not really want to do is USELESS (time-wise and money-wise), because that person did not intentionally want to be part of your team in the first place…until they gave in to your persistent pest-like behaviour. Those types of prospects never usually last long in MLM anyway.
The other BAD mistake marketers make is that they don’t incorporate technology into their marketing businesses. They don’t grasp the power of the Internet, specifically the power of Internet Marketing. Internet Marketing allows anyone who might be interested in network marketing or any home business concept today, buy from them and perhaps even partner with them in business without running around trying to get strangers to say yes to their business while they’re completely not interested.
The right system allows you to attract dozens of leads into your capture pages, into your marketing training system and finally into your business. Even if the prospect does not reach a stage where they are interested in your business, the system puts them in your list for future use. All the while relationshipping with them. And by being part of your list you can then offer them anything in the future (even if they said NO to your business).
This is a concept I battled to GRASP for many years, “how can anyone (even someone on the other side of the planet) become capable of purchasing products or services from me at a reasonable cost and feed my advertising budget in the process?” It made sense when I started understanding the power of Funded Proposals…Funded Sponsoring and Marketing using Front End and Back End Affiliate Marketing Strategies.
This amazing system helped me realize that building any business, especially Network Marketing or MLM, is easier than most think it to be. Funded Proposals created right allow you to attract thousands of leads a month even if you don’t have tons of money for advertising……because in an MLM business today you must have a lot of network marketing leads added into your marketing funnel in order to convert them into business partners. Without an adequate number of them constantly feeding into your follow up system you would face a hard time to build your business no matter the opportunity in which you participate.
Generating your own quality leads is the answer to anyone doing business from home because they are better quality and more responsive. So it makes great economic sense to any home business owner, especially Network Marketing … MLM … Affiliate Marketing … Online Sales or whatever, to learn how to generate leads for his or her business. The best way to accomplish that is to figure out where your prospects….people that may be potentially interested in joining say ….. a multilevel marketing company……are…and advertise to them or use other methods to reach them. The purpose of your advertising campaign is to turn them into leads, people that give you their contact information and permission to approach them with a specific offer. And what we find is best is to not approach them about your offer. Approach them regarding how you build your business.
After that they are part of your marketing funnel and you are contacting them many times in a specific manner in order to relationship and friendship with them giving them information of value all the time. Doing this right, may produce new business partners.
Giving them something of benefit is the KEY!

Stop chasing Prospects and learn how to approach them successfully … better yet … learn how to have them approach you!
