Network Marketing – Keeping Your Head In The Game
Most mentors and Network Marketing industry experts all agree that you will doom your Network Marketing business if you fail to persevere! This means stopping before you succeed.

Here are the 3 P’s to keep your head in the game at all times.
PASSION
First things first. Your passion, your “why” for pursuing a network marketing business is the oxygen your business cannot live long without. Unless your “why” changes, keeping your head in the game to pursue your business until it succeeds comes directly from how much your “why” stays front-and-center in your awareness.
1. Keep visual reminders of your “why” around you: photos, quotes, letters, whatever visually connects you with your passion for your business.
2. Write down positive affirmations of what happens with your “why” as your business succeeds. Read them, say them aloud several times a day.
3. Relive history. For example, if part of your “why” is to assist people, relive the stories of people you have already assisted.
PARTNERS
Even if your business has no employees or formal partners, you are wired to be connected with others in a ‘team based system‘ concept.
1. Start or join at least one mastermind group that shares a common goal for being together. The mutual accountability and support both serve to keep you engaged and in the game. Skype groups are great for this. If you have to create one yourself!
2. Increase what you are doing to assist your business builders to succeed. You know intellectually that their success is your success. Seeing it happen is very energizing.
3. Join or create a community that leverages combined group efforts toward a common business activity such as internet marketing. You benefit from the shared results as well as the community relationship. And Always have fun doing it!
PAYCHECKS
Network Marketing businesses require very little capital to start and operate. So staying in the game from a money standpoint should be straight forward. For network marketing businesses this has quite a bit to do with your upfront financial choices.
1. Pick an opportunity with a realistic, quickly-reachable break-even point.
2. Know in advance what ongoing operating expense is required for the long term, and stay right-side-up versus your business revenue. If you’re starting your business as a part-time endeavor, consider Jim Rohn’s advice and stay part-time as long as possible! This eases the paycheck pressure. Plus it increases your bragging rights about the income you will create when you can describe your network marketing business as a part-time enterprise.
3. Assess what realistic marketing investments will be required to take your business to the success level you want. There is no Network Marketing business growth without the marketing.

The 5 Keys and Getting Started in Network Marketing
Starting a home based business in the Network Marketing MLM arena can be done part time while you keep your day job. Until you’re making enough money to quit that job. There are many companies to choose from depending on your interest.

Is Working From Home All About The Money?
For most people a home based business is about buying a new car or living in a better house. For others it’s about being able to pay their bills on time or about quitting that job that they hate. Motivation Is All That Really Matters In MLM?
I hear a lot of people talking about motivation in MLM and Network Marketing, and how important it is. And I’ve written quite a few articles about motivation and how to keep yourself focused and excited about your business. However, there seems to be this myth out there that motivation is all you need to succeed in a home based business. I find so many meetings and trainings out there are all about pumping you up and getting you excited but they aren’t actually telling you how to work your business and that can be a big challenge.
Athletes focus their training on what they do well, and work to make it great. This is how athletes become great! Sure they will spend some time on what they do poorly, and the majority of their time on what they do well to make it better.
Steve Nash, two time MVP in the NBA is 6’3” and comes from Canada…not really where you would think an NBA MVP would come from. When Steve decided basketball was his sport of choice, which he began playing in grade 8, you would always find Steve dribbling a basketball anywhere he went. He was so committed to be great that he switched from dribbling a basketball at school to a tennis ball, because they wouldn’t let him dribble a basketball in the hallways. Was Steve a bad dribbler? Of course not, he just kept practicing because he wanted to be a great dribbler, and this evident when you watch him play. His skill set is incredible!
Regardless of what people tell you motivation is not the only thing you need to be successful in a home based business. It’s important… but it’s not all you need. What you need is the proper skill set and action to put behind your motivation.
Saying all you need is motivation is like saying all you need to drive across the country is gas. When actually you need a car (your skill set) and then lots of gas to put in the tank. Motivation is like the gas that you put in the car but if you don’t have a car you’re not going anywhere.
Motivation is great but you also have to pair the proper skill set and action with it. Your Skill Set and Action are what will make you money. Doing something, talking to people, making phone calls, setting appointments, performing presentations in your online conference room etc… you can have all the motivation in the world but if you don’t have the skills and take action you’re not going to get what you want.
If you’re thinking about getting involved in a home based business you must find someone who will motivate you and get you excited about working from home but you also must find someone who has a plan and a system that will help you reach your goals. Everybody wants to talk about how great it is working from home but if you don’t have a plan you’re never going to get there.
If you are highly motivated to succeed and have the skill set to put a lot of action behind something, then you will be successful!

Network Marketing Success – Stop Complaining Start Doing
Are you in Network Marketing, MLM, Affiliate Marketing or Direct Sales and frustrated with how slowly your business is growing? I know what you’re thinking. You don’t want to do lotions and potions! I never said that. The statements above are broad spectrum and generic. Most people are too closed minded. Manufactured by the company could mean technology products and it can mean consumable products.
The way your home business is progressing, is a direct result of the time and effort you put into it in order to make it work. This is most evident when you first get started and learn all the bad habits from your support team….most of which have no clue what they are doing! Systems work…..people fail. If you neglect your responsibilities no one else is going to recruit or make the sales for you. There is no secret for getting your favorable outcome from your network marketing program. You must learn the skill set required to develop. This includes more advertising and prospecting.
By plugging into a system that can assist with scaling up your efforts. You can’t fail, because you will be connected with many like minded individuals driven for success. Understand that roughly only 20% of your actions are responsible for the 80% of your results as the Pareto principle states. If you want to stop being an MLM failure you have to plug into a system that can identify what is working best and do more of it.
It all comes down to your Skill Set!
To move in that direction you must first get rid of the attitude of trying to find a scape goat for not having the MLM success that you are dreaming. You must turn to an action oriented person that accepts his/her mistakes, learn from them, and go out and do it right this time.

On the other hand, spending 250,000 or even 1 million dollars to buy a traditional business would make most people nervous because it can be risky. They would work extremely hard and do whatever it took to survive the first few difficult years.
The fact of the matter is that these types of people do not truly own their own business. This is because they borrowed a large sum of money from a bank to buy their business. If you really think about it, the bank owns it.
Being successful in the MLM/Internet Network Marketing industry can be done, and it takes a lot of hard work and confidence. Finding the right mentors will shave a large amount of time off your learning curve. It is wise to realize that the right mentor might NOT be your sponsor but a successful internet network marketing trainer, coach or consultant. Getting started in the MLM industry can be extremely easy. For an investment as little as $250 you can start having your own business.
This is a major problem because many people go in half heartedly. Most people do not invest a large some of money so they give up easily if their business fails in the first few months. You don’t have to put all your assets on the line so you are not taking a large risk, which is why people fail to achieve MLM success. In the end most people give themselves a small shot at success because they don’t put their full effort into being a success.
Spend the time……don’t give up…..work with a mentor…..give yourself 2-5 years…..and pick the right company!

Network Marketing, MLM, Affiliate Marketing, Internet Marketing, or Direct Sales IS Always Harder at the Beginning!
Think of all the forms of Marketing I mentioned in the title like a rocket taking off heading toward the atmosphere. The rocket expends more energy during takeoff and its climb to reach the atmosphere and then outer space than at any other time of its flight. Once it reaches the outer atmosphere, minimum energy will be required to manoeuvre or fly. This is true in Network Marketing, MLM, Affiliate Marketing, Internet Marketing, or Direct Sales as well. To get YOUR business off the ground will take a lot of your time and energy in the beginning. Once you reach cruising altitude in your business, it gets much easier. And you can bank on most people taking about two years or less to reach that cruising altitude.
Sure some may do it faster or slower. The main factor that will determine your time to reach that cruising altitude will be YOU!
The question is……do you have what it takes to get to where you want to go?
Most people just play around with dreams of getting “lucky!” Forget about luck! Successful marketers create their own “luck” by taking consistent action every single day in developing their “skill set”. If you want to have success, get off the ground first! When you start out in marketing you’re like a space shuttle loaded with tons of cargo. That “cargo” wants to bog you down and keep you from taking off. The amount of “cargo” that you have will determine the amount of fuel and thrust that will be required for rocket to take off! And if you are like most people, you have plenty of “cargo”. This “cargo” is doubt, fear, and procrastination. To lessen the “cargo” or get off the ground you must have fuel and thrust! This fuel and thrust comes from a burning desire, your “why”, your belief level, your commitment, and most importantly your “skill set”.
If your reason for starting a Network Marketing, MLM, Affiliate Marketing, Internet Marketing, or Direct Sales business is not strong enough to overcome procrastination, doubt and fear, you will crash and burn somewhere between take off and the cruising altitude…the outer atmosphere. There will be technical difficulties that must be rectified…and excellent piloting! Most don’t even make it off the launch pad!
You will also need a like-minded team to keep you fueled up and motivated to attain your goals. There is simply no other way. Your Network Marketing, MLM, Affiliate Marketing, Internet Marketing, or Direct Sales rocket never lands, you need in-flight fueling that comes from a team that assists with feeding your attitude and cheers you on toward your goal or goals.
That’s why I HATE the hype out there. The hypster’s play into your desire to have something for nothing; they play into your fear of selling, meetings, time consumption, and the must of contacting people. It’s in our nature to desire things without effort. You must forget that junk! You must work! You must expend time, energy and make contact with other people! You must be involved with a team that will cheer you on when things get tough! You must use a system that anyone can learn and grow their business with!
AND
Don’t get involved with anyone or anything that promises the way of ease because you will end up being very disappointed!
If you want to make it BIG, you CAN! It’s up to YOU!

Network Marketing is Evolving! Are You Keeping Up?
Weather you like it or not, Network Marketing has evolved over the years and is continuing to evolve. Most MLMers rely on ancient strategies to “get people” into their business. That’s the first mistake, “getting people”. Getting anyone to do anything they do not really want to do is USELESS (time-wise and money-wise), because that person did not intentionally want to be part of your team in the first place…until they gave in to your persistent pest-like behaviour. Those types of prospects never usually last long in MLM anyway.
The other BAD mistake marketers make is that they don’t incorporate technology into their marketing businesses. They don’t grasp the power of the Internet, specifically the power of Internet Marketing. Internet Marketing allows anyone who might be interested in network marketing or any home business concept today, buy from them and perhaps even partner with them in business without running around trying to get strangers to say yes to their business while they’re completely not interested.
The right system allows you to attract dozens of leads into your capture pages, into your marketing training system and finally into your business. Even if the prospect does not reach a stage where they are interested in your business, the system puts them in your list for future use. All the while relationshipping with them. And by being part of your list you can then offer them anything in the future (even if they said NO to your business).
This is a concept I battled to GRASP for many years, “how can anyone (even someone on the other side of the planet) become capable of purchasing products or services from me at a reasonable cost and feed my advertising budget in the process?” It made sense when I started understanding the power of Funded Proposals…Funded Sponsoring and Marketing using Front End and Back End Affiliate Marketing Strategies.
This amazing system helped me realize that building any business, especially Network Marketing or MLM, is easier than most think it to be. Funded Proposals created right allow you to attract thousands of leads a month even if you don’t have tons of money for advertising……because in an MLM business today you must have a lot of network marketing leads added into your marketing funnel in order to convert them into business partners. Without an adequate number of them constantly feeding into your follow up system you would face a hard time to build your business no matter the opportunity in which you participate.
Generating your own quality leads is the answer to anyone doing business from home because they are better quality and more responsive. So it makes great economic sense to any home business owner, especially Network Marketing … MLM … Affiliate Marketing … Online Sales or whatever, to learn how to generate leads for his or her business. The best way to accomplish that is to figure out where your prospects….people that may be potentially interested in joining say ….. a multilevel marketing company……are…and advertise to them or use other methods to reach them. The purpose of your advertising campaign is to turn them into leads, people that give you their contact information and permission to approach them with a specific offer. And what we find is best is to not approach them about your offer. Approach them regarding how you build your business.
After that they are part of your marketing funnel and you are contacting them many times in a specific manner in order to relationship and friendship with them giving them information of value all the time. Doing this right, may produce new business partners.
Giving them something of benefit is the KEY!
