You can start with cost effective ways of getting your branding out there, and doing a multiple of techniques that can help increase your Brand Awareness/Brand Recognition.

Online is a great way of gaining the right attention, providing credibility on the world wide web and finding the best possible ways to enhance your online branding. Whether your a small, medium or large company, online presence is crucial and you can reach millions of people world wide with the branding of your products and services.

An online presence is one of the strongest attributes of your brand and its well advised that one gets started with their online branding sooner than later. It makes sense right? Just like offline branding, it waits for no one. There is no use in having a well-branded, beautifully displayed, easy to navigate, logical flow website/blog and great products/services if it’s not easily found on the Major Search Engines.

Your website/blog must be built with Search Engine Optimization practices in mind. If it isn’t, you’re wasting your time and money only building a website/blog/blog that will be uploaded into the never never land of the world wide web. We all know that consumers use the internet on a frequent basis and will look for products/services via search engine channels (Main ones Google, Yahoo, Bing and MSN). If you are not listed, consumers may not trust or find you as a credible source, therefore loosing potential leads and sales.

Why More People Aren’t Showing Up To Your Network Marketing Meetings

A frustrating thing happens to all network marketers is when you have several people who are suppose to show up to your local MLM meeting and none of them come! I remember getting incredibly frustrated at times because I would talk to these people on the phone and give them directions and make sure they knew when the meeting started and then they just never showed up!

I couldn’t believe how excited they would sound on the phone and then they wouldn’t show up and I would just be so baffled!

One thing I learned through all my frustration however is that it happens to pretty much everyone in the home based, party plan and network marketing arenas. I would see people who were much better marketers than me get stood up for meetings just as often as I would so I knew that it wasn’t about me personally. Still it can be frustrating and I wanted to cut back on the no shows as much as possible. So here are a couple tips that you can use to make sure more of your prospects show up for your local meetings.

 
Meet them beforehand

Instead of giving them the address and time of the meeting try meeting them a half hour before at a coffee shop or some place else. Give yourself a chance to meet them and let them meet you in a more relaxed environment. Coming into a meeting can be a little weird for some people. Having them meet you beforehand is more casual and they are more likely to come if they know it’s just going to be you. Then you can walk into the meeting together.

 
Call to confirm

If you set up an appointment earlier in the week make sure you call them the night before or even the afternoon of the meeting to make sure they’re still coming. That way you can know ahead of time if someone is planning on blowing you off. Also, your call will let them know that you care about them coming and it will make them feel important.

 
Give them a reason to come

Tell your prospect over the phone that you have someone who has a lot of experience in the business who you would love for them to meet if they come to the meeting. Introduce them to your business partner or someone who has had a lot of success and can answer their questions effectively. Sometimes letting them know that there is someone more knowledgeable than you at the meetings will encourage them to come because otherwise they might just want to play 20 questions with you on the phone.

The promise of someone else will peak their interest and they’re much more likely to show up.

Setting and Attaining Goals

In this blog post you are going to learn a system, that can and will assist you in setting and attaining your goals, this year and beyond if you choose to follow it.

Setting goals is simple. Just writing stuff on paper is Flim Flam….anyone can do that! Goal setting is just fluff. Goal attaining is the end result and that is what I like to focus on. So if you apply these 5 steps to goal attaining, you to can get yourself from where you are now to where you want to be in record time.

 

Step One – Clarify Your Vision

What do you really deserve? If you could be, do or have anything, what would you choose? More specifically, by the end of this year what is your number one goal you would like to focus on and attain?

Grab a blank sheet of paper right now, write “Dream List” at the top of it and write everything you think you want to and deserve to be, do or have. Let your imagination run wild and take all things into consideration like…..family, travel, income, vehicles, homes, lifestyle, accomplishments etc…..

From that list you will have some short-term goals and some long-term goals. Now it’s up to you to choose a couple of those dreams to focus on for the remainder of the year. If you were to fast-forward to the end of the year, what would you look back upon and be most proud of if you were to accomplish it by then?

 

Step Two – Always Believe

As long as your goal is in line with your skill set and vision, you must always believe by committing to that goal and taking the proper action steps achieve it, then you will attain it! It’s the law of cause and effect right…sowing and reaping will come into play. As long as you are not treking out (going where no man has gone before) and if you’re aware your goal is attainable by others as well…then it can be attained by you with the proper action!

 

Step Three – Identify and Align

By being part of my list or surfing to my site and just reading this blog post, you have shown you’re good at this step. Now you must take it one step further and identify as specifically as possible who has attained what you are working towards. Then align yourself with them as best you can!

Align yourself with e-books they have written or regular books, courses they provide, seminars they put on, plus any audio and video you can find about them and their journey. Plug in and get your questions answered. Especially this one…”How can I, in the most efficient and timely manner, get to where I am to where you are?”

 

Step Four – Commit to Massive Action

You must be willing to pay your dues…with some sweat equity…massive action! Depending on your skill set and the distance between where you are now and where you deserve to be, this action can take weeks to months to years to even decades depending on the specific goal. And you must prepare yourself for this.

When you study most successful people you will find that they were overnight successes that took 3-5-15 years going above and beyond what was expected, major commitment and massive action. You will also notice they didn’t allow set backs or failed attempts to stop them. They learned from their mistakes, picked themselves back up, and continued on by taking more massive focused action!

 

Step Five – Have Fun

Whenever you have a goal that lights your fire and becomes a serious burning desire to attain, it takes on a life of it’s own and the hours of working towards that goal….studying and working….seem more like fun than actual work.

If and when you have a goal you dread putting time or action into, because it feels like a job, re-evaluate the goal immediately. Zig Ziglar says it the best….”When you do the things you need to do, when you need to do them, the day will come when you can do the things you want to do, when you want to do them.”

4 Reasons MLM / Network Marketing Businesses are Considered Scams

MLM businesses, as a whole, have received a bad rap from many people. Most people think of losing thousands of dollars when they are asked their feelings about MLM companies. Unfortunately, this is not far from the truth.

What most people don’t understand is that few people lose “thousands” of dollars in the MLM industry in one MLM business.

Their loses build because they continue to search for the “holy grail” of MLM companies by jumping from one business to another every 6 – 9 months. After the 3rd business, most losses are over a thousand dollars and the losses build with each subsequent business that is joined and dropped. So, if people are willing to join a company and then drop out after 6 – 9 months, why are they calling these MLM companies “scams”?

Let me share my opinion as to why this happens.

  1. They were “promised” large incomes with little work and to be honest with any business there is WORK….hence the word NetWORK!
  2. The marketing literature and hyped up NO Integrity…Character Poor…Honesty Lost…distributors said people would flock to this new opportunity….and of course this NEVER happens.
  3. The testimonials, from people in luxurious locations or with fancy new cars, gave glowing reports of all of the money they would make and they didn’t make any money.
  4. The sponsors could not answer their questions as to how to build their business, where to find good leads, or how to make money. This is mainly because the sponsor is also not making any money.

 

So, what do you do if you are looking to add to your income by joining a Network Marketing / MLM company part time or full time?
Is MLM truly a scam?

The answer is quite simply…..NO!

MLM or Network Marketing in itself is not a scam. What is a scam is how the business is being marketed by all those hyped up, slime bag, unethical people out there. How do I know this? Been there and been sucked in before. I have learned that one must develop the skill set to become successful in any business…no matter what that business may be. And MLM / Network Marketing is no different!

I can and will show you the correct way to market your business.

So where do you start in your new venture?

First, forget EVERYTHING the MLM marketing literature says to do.  For most people…It does’nt work. Second, you must find a mentor who will work with you and those you introduce…who is already having the success you are striving for….who has Integrity….Honesty and Character. Thirdly, you must plug into a system that is current and internet masters are using TODAY to bring in five figure MONTHLY incomes.

And lastly….YOU must be coachable….with Attitude….Drive and Determination!

Funded Proposal What Are They?

Funded Proposals are becoming more and more key elements when generating an income online in any business.

Let’s view an example of funded proposals in a traditional business sense. You saw an ad in the paper for a sale on milk. Your intention is to only buy milk. You go to the store and you end up buying other products, because you have to walk to the back of the store to get the milk. In the meantime you see your favorite fish, snacks, and other high price items you buy. It was the stores marketing strategy to give you a product below cost in hopes to have you buy other products with a high profit margin.

As a network marketer you must offer funded proposals to beat the competition. Without one you may run out of money before you make enough sales in your primary business. The top 3% of online marketers are leading with value…offering a low cost marketing tool to their list. A training program so to speak. Something people can start for FREE, and then later on actually upgrade. This will establish trust with their prospects before a business opportunity is presented. It also puts cash in the marketer’s pocket creating a bigger budget for marketing efforts.

And you know how most people require marketing capitol in Network Marketing. It’s so important.

The old school method was done without funded proposals. Most people that pitch their business opportunity fail. This is because no trust was established and the marketer spends more on advertising then income coming in. Remember there will be no network marketing business without network marketing business partners and customers coming in.

Funded proposals do help people make money. A huge need in online marketing is to show people how to make money. Most business opportunities talk about compensation plans. However, they do not teach you how to put cash in your pocket by effective advertising. I mean they don’t even teach you how to advertise or market at all.

These are the three most important requirements when building your network marketing business online.

  1. You must build a list by offering to assist people without selling them. Being a coach, mentor or partner so to speak.
  2. You must form relationships with the people on your list. By being available and at least mailing to them regularly.
  3. Assist them with generating a few bucks, utilizing the strategies of a funded proposal.
  4. Once they make a few bucks, they will be interested to know how to make more. And will inquire about what you do.

The moral is to always sell yourself, your team, your support and your marketing system first. NOT your business opportunity.

How To Motivate Someone When They Require It The Most

Being in the home based business industry….I’m sure you’ve heard it all before…..”Some Will, Some Won’t, So What, Someone is always Waiting.” This holds true for most people…..and sometimes that one person with incredible potential (yes potentialitis) just requires a small yet positive push every once in a while.

Being a leader in this industry, you may at times find it difficult to motivate. And maybe you only have a team of a few people or perhaps you have a huge downline, either way as a leader there are going to be times when you know a team member is struggling and requires a good dose of motivation. So how do you motivate someone when they really need it?  The answer is in really knowing the person and finding out what matters to them.

Their WHY….or driving force.

As a leader one of the first things you must find out about a new team member when you begin working with them is why they are coming into the business. Do they deserve to become a stay at home mom or dad? Do they deserve to travel more? Are they stuck in a job that they hate? What exactly motivates them and why are they in the business to begin with? Once you know the person you’re dealing with and you really know what makes them tick and what gets them excited it will be much easier to motivate them (or keeping them focused on their goals). Without that prior knowledge you’ll just be grasping for anything that might work. Once you know that your new business partner wants to make money so that he/she can quit their job and work from home you have a huge amount of ammunition and you will know exactly how to motivate them towards success.

Whenever you’re talking to someone about what motivates them, make them be as specific as possible. Don’t just let them tell you that they want more money. Find out what they plan on using that money for. People don’t just want money for the sake of having money. They have an idea in mind about how they want to spend it and how it will change their life. Once you tap into that, you have instant motivation for each one of your team members.

By knowing your team members personally and finding out what really gets them excited you will be able to motivate them more easily and they will make more money which will in turn strengthen the team. So everybody wins.

Do You Have Someone Holding You Accountable In Your Home Based Business?

One of the few things that I love about having a “real job” is that there are always people there holding you accountable for what you say you’re going to do. If you don’t come to work for a week you’d better believe that there would be consequences or at the very least you’d be getting some angry phone calls from your boss. That is what keeps you on track. It’s what makes you show up to work every day even when you don’t feel like it and you’d rather be doing something else. Accountability is extremely important and it’s something that a lot of home based business owners are really missing.

It can be very isolating working from home. Even if you have other people in the business that you like and are friends with it can be very easy to cover up how much you are actually working. It’s easy to pretend that you’re working your business very hard when really you’re doing very little. That’s why you need to have someone to be accountable to so that you can make sure you’re doing everything you need to do to be really successful in your business.

Your accountability partner can be just about anyone. It can be the person who brought you into the business or just someone you know from your team. It can be your spouse or a close friend pretty much anyone can sign up for the job. The key is finding someone who isn’t afraid to be a little tough on you when you don’t do what you say you’re going to do. Also, you must find someone who you will be honest with. If you haven’t worked in a week you must tell them. Honesty is really the only way that an accountability partner will work for you. So find someone and really open up to them.

Once you have someone who will help to motivate you and keep you accountable you will start to see your business really grow. You won’t be able to just half way work your business and you’ll start seeing more growth because when you are consistently working your business you won’t be able to stop the success from coming. Everyone in a home based business needs an accountability partner who they can be honest with and who can push them on to greatness in their business.
